Cardamom Oats with Mango Pairing
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 3 cardamom pods, lightly crushed with palm of your hand (or easier just use 1/4 tsp ground cardamom)
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 cup unsweetened soy milk
Preparation
Add all ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer.
Allow oats to cook and thicken as desired, generally about 5 minutes.
Before serving carefully fish out the cardamom pods (or else you’re in for a not so fun treat).
