Classic Turkish Olive Piyaz
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped black olives
- 1 cup chopped green olives
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 bunch parsley
- 1 red onion
- 2 green onions
- 5 walnuts
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sweet spicy pepper paste
- 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup pomegranate molasses
Preparation
Chop the onions into half-moon shapes.
Finely chop the parsley and green onions.
Chop the olives into rings and finely chop the walnuts with a knife.
In a bowl, mix all the chopped ingredients.
Add olive oil, lemon, salt, sweet spicy pepper paste, and pomegranate molasses to the mixture and stir.
Serve with crispy bread.
