Vegan Vodka Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- A few cloves minced garlic
- Some olive oil
- 6-ounce can tomato paste
- 1/4 cup vodka
- One can coconut milk
- Some salt
- About one pound cooked pasta
- Some pasta water
Preparation
Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
Saute a few cloves of minced garlic with some olive oil until fragrant.
Add a 6-ounce can of tomato paste and saute until it turns a deep red color.
Add 1/4 cup of vodka and let it sizzle.
Add a can of coconut milk and some salt, then simmer.
Add about a pound of cooked pasta and some pasta water, then stir to combine.
