Breaded and Baked Tofu Nuggets

Ingredients

  • preheat oven to 425 f. line a baking sheet with parchment paper. ?
  • 1 cup @theoatyeah
  • 1 tbl apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbl soy sauce
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs (vegan)
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbl nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp ground sage

Preparation

  1. Mix the milk, ACV, soy sauce in a small bowl

  2. Cup flour in a small bowl

  3. Mix the remaining dry in a medium bowl

  4. Dip the tofu in the flour, then the milk, then the bread crumbs mix

  5. Place on baking sheet

  6. Bake for 15 min

  7. Spray with a little oil, flip, and bake for 10-15 more minutes

  8. You can skip the oil but it does make it more crunchy and browned
