Breaded and Baked Tofu Nuggets
Ingredients
- preheat oven to 425 f. line a baking sheet with parchment paper. ?
- 1 cup @theoatyeah
- 1 tbl apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbl soy sauce
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs (vegan)
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tbl nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp ground sage
Preparation
Mix the milk, ACV, soy sauce in a small bowl
Cup flour in a small bowl
Mix the remaining dry in a medium bowl
Dip the tofu in the flour, then the milk, then the bread crumbs mix
Place on baking sheet
Bake for 15 min
Spray with a little oil, flip, and bake for 10-15 more minutes
You can skip the oil but it does make it more crunchy and browned
