Easy Light Chocolate Mousse Dessert

Ingredients

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 400 g heavy cream

Preparation

  1. Chop the dark chocolate and melt in a double boiler. Let cool slightly. Meanwhile, separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks with salt and 1 tablespoon sugar until creamy (about 3-4 minutes)

  2. Whip the cream until stiff and chill. Beat the egg whites with 1 tablespoon sugar until very stiff. Add the melted chocolate to the egg yolks and stir well to avoid lumps

  3. Fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture, taking care not to lose too much air. Finally, gently fold in the cream. Pour everything into one large or several small serving bowls and chill for at least 5 hours or overnight until the mousse sets
