Toffee Apple Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 apple (sliced)
  • ◦ 1/2 cup of oats ◦ 2-4 pitted medjool dates
  • ◦ 200ml plant-based milk (we recommend coconut for this one!)
  • ◦ cinnamon (as much as you desire!)
  • ◦ 1 tsp maca powder (optional, but highly recommended! — this adds the extra caramel flavour)
  • ◦ 1/4 cup of granola OR nuts — homemade or sugar-free is preferred

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a pan except for the granola / nuts, on medium heat and stir every few minutes until brought to a boil

  2. Cook until the porridge is at your desired consistency and serve

  3. Top this deliciousness with almond butter, more apple, dried fruit, and your granola / nuts or both
