Classic Tiramisu with a Caramel Twist

Ingredients

  • 2 packets caramel cream
  • 1 cup liquid cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons coffee
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup grated chocolate
  • 1 packet ladyfingers
  • 10 chocolate sticks
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

For decoration

  • Cherries

Preparation

  1. Prepare 4 tall transparent serving glasses.

  2. Optionally, use a spoon to spread a little melted chocolate in decorative lines in the glasses. This step is optional and can be skipped.

  3. In a deep plate, combine water, coffee, and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.

  4. In a mixer bowl, place liquid cream and caramel cream powder. Attach the whisk and mix on medium speed until the cream thickens and becomes fluffy.

  5. Dip a ladyfinger in the coffee mixture and place it in the glass. Repeat with remaining ladyfingers to line the edges of the glasses. Using a spoon, spread some of the cream mixture in the center of the ladyfingers, add some grated chocolate, and repeat the layers to fill the glasses.

  6. Garnish the tiramisu glasses with whipped cream, add chocolate sticks, and sprinkle with cocoa powder. Place in the refrigerator until serving.

  7. For serving: Cut a small piece from the caramel packet in the caramel cream envelope, drizzle the caramel over the tiramisu, and serve.
