Crispy Matzo Toffee with Chocolate and Nuts
Ingredients
- 4 sheets matzo
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans, almonds, or walnuts)
- Flaky sea salt
Preparation
Melt butter and brown sugar, whisk until thick, then stir in vanilla
Pour over matzo on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 10-12 min
Remove from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, let sit for 1-2 min, then spread
Top with nuts and sea salt, then chill until set
Break into pieces and enjoy
