Caramelised Onion Gravy Baguette

Ingredients

  • Large onion
  • Sainsbury's plant pioneers no beef pieces
  • Oxo meat free beef flavour stock cube
  • Bisto original onion gravy
  • A little Sarsons gravy browning
  • Boiling water as needed
  • St Pierre brioche baguette

Sides

  • Actifry chips
  • Hellmann's chilli and garlic sauce

Preparation

  1. Slice and fry the onion low and slow until sweet and golden.

  2. Pan fry the plant-based beef pieces.

  3. Dissolve the stock cube in boiling water, then add Bisto gravy and a little gravy browning to make a thick gravy.

  4. Add the caramelised onions to the gravy mixture.

  5. Assemble the gravy and beef mixture inside the brioche baguette and bake in a hot oven for 5 minutes.

Sides

  1. Prepare the Actifry chips according to package instructions.

  2. Serve with Hellmann's chilli and garlic sauce.
