Caramelised Onion Gravy Baguette
Ingredients
- Large onion
- Sainsbury's plant pioneers no beef pieces
- Oxo meat free beef flavour stock cube
- Bisto original onion gravy
- A little Sarsons gravy browning
- Boiling water as needed
- St Pierre brioche baguette
Sides
- Actifry chips
- Hellmann's chilli and garlic sauce
Preparation
Slice and fry the onion low and slow until sweet and golden.
Pan fry the plant-based beef pieces.
Dissolve the stock cube in boiling water, then add Bisto gravy and a little gravy browning to make a thick gravy.
Add the caramelised onions to the gravy mixture.
Assemble the gravy and beef mixture inside the brioche baguette and bake in a hot oven for 5 minutes.
Sides
Prepare the Actifry chips according to package instructions.
Serve with Hellmann's chilli and garlic sauce.
