Crispy Golden Tofu Bites with Glaze

Ingredients

  • 400g tofu
  • 2 Tbsp corn starch
  • 1 Tsp salt

Glaze

  • 4 Tbsp agave or maple syrup
  • juice of 1 small lemon
  • 1 Tsp paprika
  • 1 Tsp ground coriander
  • 1 Tsp cumin
  • 1/2 Tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 Tsp garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1-2 Tbsp water

Preparation

  1. Pat dry the tofu and tear it into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Toss the tofu with corn starch and salt.

  3. Fry the tofu in oil until crispy.

  4. Mix the glaze ingredients together.

  5. Add the glaze to the tofu in the pan.

  6. Stir and fry for 2-3 minutes until nicely glazed.
