Fried Cauliflower with Tahini Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt

For frying

  • Corn oil

Preparation

  1. Cut the cauliflower into medium-sized pieces.

  2. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan.

  3. Fry the cauliflower pieces until golden brown, remove and let cool.

  4. In a bowl, place the garlic, yogurt, tahini, lemon juice, paprika, and salt, mix to combine.

  5. Add the fried cauliflower, using a fork, mix with the mixture while pressing slightly to break it up a bit.

  6. Place in a serving dish, garnish as desired, and serve at room temperature or cold.
