Seasoned Green Fava Beans with Yogurt

Ingredients

  • 400 grams green fava beans
  • 3/4 cup yogurt
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

For serving

  • olive oil

Preparation

  1. Bring wide serving plates.

  2. In a deep pot on medium heat, place a generous amount of water then add the green fava beans to the boiling water along with salt and corn oil and cook for 30 minutes until fully cooked then drain the beans.

  3. In a blender jug, place the beans, yogurt, garlic, salt, lemon juice, and paprika and blend on medium speed until you get a coarse homogeneous mixture.

  4. Using a wide plastic spoon, spread the seasoned beans mixture in the plates.

  5. Drizzle with olive oil and red pepper and serve the seasoned beans with Arabic bread and pickles.
