Purple Cabbage Salad with Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped purple cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped coriander
  • 1 medium onion, sliced

Sauce

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon crushed ginger
  • 1 small clove garlic, crushed

For serving

  • Raw sesame seeds

Preparation

  1. In a deep bowl, place the cabbage, coriander, and onion and mix with a wooden spoon until combined to form the salad.

  2. In a deep bowl, place the yogurt, lemon juice, salt, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic and whisk by hand until a smooth sauce forms.

  3. Spread the sauce over the vegetables and mix the salad with the sauce until well combined.

  4. In a wide serving dish, pour the salad, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve.
