Purple Cabbage Salad with Yogurt Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped purple cabbage
- 1 cup chopped coriander
- 1 medium onion, sliced
Sauce
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon crushed ginger
- 1 small clove garlic, crushed
For serving
- Raw sesame seeds
Preparation
In a deep bowl, place the cabbage, coriander, and onion and mix with a wooden spoon until combined to form the salad.
In a deep bowl, place the yogurt, lemon juice, salt, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic and whisk by hand until a smooth sauce forms.
Spread the sauce over the vegetables and mix the salad with the sauce until well combined.
In a wide serving dish, pour the salad, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve.
