Fried Cauliflower with Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into small florets
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 small hot pepper, finely chopped
For frying
- Corn oil
Preparation
In a deep skillet, add oil to a depth of about 2 inches and heat over medium heat.
Fry the cauliflower florets until golden brown, then transfer to paper towels using a slotted spoon to drain excess oil.
In a deep bowl, combine lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, ground coriander, parsley, cilantro, and hot pepper; mix with a wide plastic spoon to make the garlic sauce.
Add the fried cauliflower to the sauce and toss to coat.
Serve in a wide dish with Arabic bread.
