Healthy Chickpea Brookies Snack

Ingredients

  • 400g tin chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 3 tbsp almond butter
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • A few drops vanilla stevia
  • A dash of sea salt
  • 40g dark chocolate, cut into small chunks

Preparation

  1. Blitz the chickpeas, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla stevia, and sea salt in a food processor until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.

  2. Fold in the dark chocolate chunks and spread the mixture on baking paper on a baking tray. Add a bit more chocolate on top if desired.

  3. Bake for 15 minutes and allow to cool before serving.

Notes

  1. Chickpeas are the main ingredient, making this snack high in fiber and a good source of protein.
