Malaysian Mackerel Fish Curry

Ingredients

  • Boiled mackerel tuna with salt and tamarind
  • Galangal, about 2 inches
  • Onion, 1 bulb
  • Dried chilies, 3-5
  • Turmeric, 2 inches
  • Coriander seeds, 1 teaspoon
  • Long beans
  • Cucumber
  • Bell pepper
  • Coconut milk
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Seasoning

Spice paste

  • Galangal, about 2 inches
  • Onion, 1 bulb
  • Dried chilies, 3-5
  • Turmeric, 2 inches
  • Coriander seeds, 1 teaspoon

Preparation

  1. Blend all ingredients marked with an asterisk

  2. Put the blended mixture into a pot

  3. Add coconut milk

  4. Cook until almost boiling

  5. Add fish and vegetables

  6. Add salt, sugar, and seasoning

  7. Let it boil until done
