Vegan Iced Black Carrot Dalgona Coffee

Ingredients

  • 500 ml plant milk (almond recommended)
  • 2 teaspoons black carrot powder
  • a few ice cubes
  • 4 tablespoons instant coffee powder
  • 4 tablespoons white sugar
  • 4 tablespoons boiling water

Garnishes

  • puffed quinoa
  • cacao nibs
  • crushed biscoff cookies
  • edible flowers

Preparation

  1. Add instant coffee, sugar and boiling water into a bowl and whip until it gets creamy and stiff using an electric hand mixer.

  2. Take two jars and fill each with 100 ml plant milk, then add a few ice cubes.

  3. Mix the remaining 300 ml plant milk with black carrot powder and pour it onto the ice cubes.

  4. Layer the whipped coffee on top and decorate with puffed quinoa, cacao nibs, crushed biscoff cookies and edible flowers.

Notes

  1. This recipe makes two servings and was a popular trend inspired by dalgona coffee.
