Vegetable Soup with Brie Toast
Ingredients
- Brown onions
- Carrot and swede mix
- Water
- Stock
- Onion salt
- Garlic powder
- Turmeric
- Tarragon
- Potato
- No chick strips, shredded
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
Toast components
- Oat topped wholemeal bun
- 25g Somerset brie
Preparation
Dice and fry the onions until browned.
Add carrot, swede, potato, and shredded no chick strips to the pot.
Pour in water, stock, onion salt, garlic powder, turmeric, and tarragon, then simmer until vegetables are soft.
Mix cornflour with a little cold water and add to thicken the soup.
Toast the bun until golden.
Top the toasted bun with brie and serve alongside the soup.
