Vegan Strawberry Dubai Cups

Ingredients

  • Fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup kataifi pastry
  • 1/2 cup pistachio cream
  • Melted chocolate

Optional additions

  • Pinch of matcha powder
  • Chopped pistachios

Preparation

  1. Wash and slice the strawberries.

  2. Chop and toast the kataifi pastry in a pan over medium heat until golden brown if it is not pre-toasted.

  3. In a bowl, combine the kataifi pastry and pistachio cream, adding more or less cream to achieve the desired consistency.

  4. Melt the chocolate.

  5. Assemble the cups by layering strawberries, the pistachio-kataifi mixture, and melted chocolate, repeating the layers until the cups are filled.

Tips

  1. Optionally add a pinch of matcha to the pistachio cream mixture to enhance the green color.

  2. Top the assembled cups with chopped pistachios if desired.

  3. The recipe yields about 2 small cups or one large cup and is very filling and indulgent.

  4. Check if the kataifi pastry is already toasted before preparing, as some brands may be pre-toasted.
