Crispy Gyoza Bowl for One

Ingredients

  • Frozen gyozas of choice
  • One portion of sushi rice
  • Rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 avocado
  • Handful of cucumber
  • Handful of edamame beans
  • 1 carrot
  • Spring onions
  • Sriracha
  • Furikake seasoning
  • Maggis seasoning or soy sauce

Optional additions

  • Sushi ginger
  • Extra chilli crisp

Preparation

  1. Air fry gyozas at 180°C with a tiny drizzle or spray of oil for 8 to 10 minutes until crispy. Shake halfway through and use baking paper to prevent sticking.

  2. Prepare rice and season with a splash of rice wine vinegar.

  3. Add rice to a bowl and top with gyozas, avocado, carrots, cucumber, edamame beans, spring onions, and optional sushi ginger.

  4. Finish with a drizzle of sriracha, optionally mixed with mayo for a fun twist, optional extra chilli crisp, a splash of Maggis or soy sauce, and some furikake seasoning.
