Lentil Walnut Taco Meat

Ingredients

  • 1/2 large onion
  • 4-5 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 2 cans of lentils
  • 300g mushrooms
  • 1/3 cup tomato sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp taco seasoning
  • Handful of chopped cilantro
  • Juice of 1/2 a lime

Preparation

  1. Sauté the diced onion until translucent, then add the garlic and mushrooms and cook for a few more minutes.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

  3. Once everything is heated through and combined, add a handful of chopped cilantro and the juice of half a lime.
