Sugar-Free Whipped Coffee


  • 2 tbsp instant coffee or instant espresso (must be instant)
  • 2 tbsp sugar or sugar-free sweetener such as granulated monk fruit sweetener, powdered stevia or granulated erythritol.
  • 2 tbsp boiling water
  • plant milk (i used soy)
  • ice cubes


  1. Place the coffee and sweetener in a jar or a tall glass

  2. Add boiling water and use a hand mixer or a handheld frother to whip until thick, creamy and frothy (about 2-5 minutes)

  3. You can also try using a regular hand whisk but this will take much longer (at least 15 minutes)

  4. Add ice cubes to a large glass and pour plant milk over the ice

  5. Add whipped coffee and enjoy with a spoon or a glass straw (or other reusable straw)

  6. To serve hot: pour heated milk into a large glass and add the whipped coffee

  7. Stir until desired consistency

  8. As a sweetener, i used a mix of erythritol and stevia
