Sugar-Free Whipped Coffee
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp instant coffee or instant espresso (must be instant)
- 2 tbsp sugar or sugar-free sweetener such as granulated monk fruit sweetener, powdered stevia or granulated erythritol.
- 2 tbsp boiling water
- plant milk (i used soy)
- ice cubes
Preparation
Place the coffee and sweetener in a jar or a tall glass
Add boiling water and use a hand mixer or a handheld frother to whip until thick, creamy and frothy (about 2-5 minutes)
You can also try using a regular hand whisk but this will take much longer (at least 15 minutes)
Add ice cubes to a large glass and pour plant milk over the ice
Add whipped coffee and enjoy with a spoon or a glass straw (or other reusable straw)
To serve hot: pour heated milk into a large glass and add the whipped coffee
Stir until desired consistency
As a sweetener, i used a mix of erythritol and stevia
