Cashew Mac and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cashews
  • 4 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 3 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup cold water
  • Salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • Optional: green peas
  • Optional: chilli flakes

Preparation

  1. Soak the cashews for a few hours in cold water, then drain and rinse.

  2. Blend all the ingredients together in a food processor.

  3. Heat the sauce in a pan over medium heat.

  4. Pour the sauce over cooked pasta or vegetables.
