Vegan Banana Chocolate Chip Cake
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 6 tbsp Absolute Organic Maple Syrup
- 1/3 cup Absolute Organic Hazelnut Butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup hazelnut meal (or almond meal)
- 1 cup buckwheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Melt the coconut oil on low heat in a small pan.
Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl and add in the remaining wet ingredients.
Mix it all together until well combined.
In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients together.
Slowly fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a banana bread dough forms.
Place in the oven for 30-45 minutes until golden brown.
