Vegan Mett Spread with Brown Rice Cakes
Ingredients
- 100g brown rice cakes
- 100ml water
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- tomato sauce to desired consistency
- 1-2 onions
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy/tamari sauce
Seasoning
- paprika
- garlic
- pepper
- herbs
Preparation
Crumble rice cakes in a small bowl with your fingers.
Add water, chopped onion, tomato paste, tomato sauce, vinegar and soy sauce. Mix well.
Season well and allow to chill in the fridge for some hours if desired (optional).
Spread on whole grain bread, bagels or similar and garnish with parsley and more chopped onions. Enjoy.
