Delicious Paleo Vegan Chocolate Energy Balls

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 6 medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1 TBS water
  • 1 TBS maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Put walnuts and almonds in a food processor and grind until small pieces

  2. Add dates, unsweetened shredded coconut, cocoa powder, water, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt and mix until combined with a texture similar to dough

  3. Scoop some mixture and roll into balls

  4. Place them in a container and refrigerate for about an hour before serving
