Easy Weeknight Taco Bowls
Ingredients
- ground beef or chicken/ground turkey/veggie alternative
- taco seasoning or chili powder + cumin + garlic & onion powder + paprika + chili flakes (optional) + salt & pepper
- diced peppers
- onions
- olive oil
- lettuce
- tomatoes
- jalapeños
- avocado
- salsa
- cheese (optional)
- beans (optional)
- Greek yogurt (optional)
- fajita shells (optional)
Preparation
Cook ground beef or alternative until no longer pink.
Season with taco seasoning or a mix of chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chili flakes (optional), salt, and pepper.
Cook diced peppers and onions in olive oil with salt and pepper until soft, about 6 minutes.
Prepare toppings by chopping lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños, and avocado.
Top with salsa and optional additions like cheese, beans, Greek yogurt; serve in fajita shells if desired.
