Homemade Vegan Cashew Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp kelp or dulse granules
  • Pinch black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup water

Preparation

  1. Soak the cashews in water for at least 2 hours.

  2. Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
