Spaghetti with Garlic and Olive Oil

Ingredients

  • 500g Spaghetti
  • 10 Cherry tomatoes
  • 6-8 Garlic cloves
  • 1/2 Pepperoni or a bit of chilli flakes
  • 100ml Olive oil
  • Handful of basil
  • 1/2 Lemon grated skin
  • Salt, pepper

Preparation

  1. Cook the spaghetti.

  2. Chop the garlic and tomatoes.

  3. Shred the basil and keep a couple for decoration.

  4. Heat up the olive oil in a pan.

  5. Add the garlic and chilli.

  6. Let it get brown for a couple of minutes.

  7. Add the tomatoes.

  8. Grate in the lemon zest.

  9. Add a bit of the spaghetti water, about 1 cup.

  10. Season with salt and pepper.

  11. Mix in the spaghetti.

  12. Serve with a bit of fresh basil.
