How Do I Introduce Meat to My Baby
Ingredients
- 1️⃣ Puréed
- Add 1-2 teaspoons of purée beef to 2-4 teaspoons of veggies. I used sweet potato and broccoli in this example
- 2️⃣ Meatballs or meat ‘fingers’
- Use beef or lamb mince and mix with an egg and some bread crumbs. Shape into ‘balls’ or ‘finger’ shapes so baby can pick them up
- 3️⃣ Slow cooked
- Cook beef/lamb at 150C for 1.5-2 hours until it falls apart (see video). 4️⃣ Slow roasted chicken
- Offer the darker thigh meat as it contains more iron than the ‘white’ chicken breast
