Banana Bread W/chocolate Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups bananas (the riper the better)
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp coconut oil
  • 4 tbsp plant based milk
  • 1 tbsp apple vinegar
  • 3/4 cup oats
  • 1 1/3 cups whole-wheat flour
  • 4 teaspoon black sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp crushed cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 banana

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees c /350f

  2. With a mixer process all the wet ingredients until well mixed

  3. Whisk all the dry ingredients and add to the wet mixture

  4. With a spatola whisk until perfectly combined

  5. Oil a cake pan and pour the banana bred into it

  6. Cut in half the banana and press it on the top

  7. Bake in the middle of the oven the first 30 minutes at 180 degrees c/350f and the remaining 20 minutes at 150 degrees c/ 300f

  8. Top with vegan chocolate chips (or fold them into the batter before baking)

  9. Enjoy!
