Baked Cauliflower Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 1/4 cups of water
  • 1 whole cauliflower cut into florets
  • 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons of salt, pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of spring onion for garnishing
  • Chilli sauce ingredients
  • 6 teaspoon of sweet chilli sauce
  • 6 teaspoons of maple syrup
  • 6 teaspoons of tamari sauce
  • 6 teaspoon of balsamic sauce

Preparation

  1. In a bowl add the flour, paprika, salt, pepper, water and combine

  2. Place the cauliflower florets in the prepared batter and coat well

  3. On a tray with parchment paper place the cauliflower florets and bake at 180 for 20 minutes or until brown

  4. Set aside

  5. If you’re deep frying the cauliflower pre boil the cauliflower for 6 minutes

  6. In a bowl add the sweet chilli sauce, maple syrup, tamari sauce, balsamic glaze and combine

  7. Place the cauliflower in a bowl and add half the sauce and coat well

  8. Place the cauliflower on parchment paper and bake for a further 15 minutes at 180

  9. When serving pour the remainder of the sauce on top
