Cauliflower Bites and Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 1/4 cups of water
  • 1 whole cauliflower cut into florets
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of spring onion for garnishing.
  • sunflower oil for frying
  • 6 teaspoon of sweet chilli sauce
  • 6 teaspoons of maple syrup
  • 6 teaspoons of tamari sauce
  • 6 teaspoon of balsamic glaze

Preparation

  1. Pre boil the cauliflower for 5 minutes in a pot with boiling salted water

  2. Drain and set aside to cool

  3. In a bowl add the flour, paprika, salt, pepper, parsley, garlic, water and combine

  4. Place the cauliflower florets in the prepared batter and coat well

  5. When frying the cauliflower bites don’t over crowd the pot as it will make the batter soggy

  6. Place on absorbent paper

  7. Set aside

  8. In a jar add the sweet chilli sauce, maple syrup, tamari sauce, balsamic glaze and combine

  9. Place the cauliflower bites in a bowl and add half the sauce and coat well

  10. Place the cauliflower on parchment paper and bake for 15 minutes at 180

  11. When serving pour the remainder of the sauce on top and combine
