Black Bean Brownies with Snickers Layer
Ingredients
Brownie
- 230g black beans (already boiled/packaged ones)
- 14 fresh dates (190g)
- 1 tbsp cold brewed coffee
- 1 tbsp vanilla pea protein powder
- 60g coconut oil
- 30g cacao powder
Snickers layer
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup agave syrup
Frosting
- 100g dark vegan chocolate
- 30g oat milk
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Pit the dates and place them in a food processor along with all the other brownie ingredients. Mix.
Pour the batter into a 30cm classic loaf pan.
Bake for 30 minutes and let the cake cool down.
Combine the peanut butter and agave syrup and cover the brownie. Freeze for 20 minutes.
Melt the dark chocolate and oat milk. Blend together.
Top the brownie with the frosting.
Keep in the fridge for 20 minutes before serving.
