Flourless Gluten-Free Fudge Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup macadamia butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • Handful chopped nuts

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy and smooth.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a lined oven-safe tin or pan and smooth the top with a spoon.

  4. Bake for 35-40 minutes.

  5. Remove from oven and let it cool.

  6. Slice into pieces.

No-bake option

  1. If preferred, skip baking and place the blended mixture in the freezer for a couple of hours to set before enjoying.

Notes

  1. As this is flourless, it will not have a cake-like texture, so expect a fudge-like consistency instead.
