The Ultimate Black Bean Burger

Ingredients

  • ?1 flax egg (1 tablespoon flaxseed meal + 3 tablespoons water set for 10 mins) or 1 egg
  • ?1/2 red onion, finely diced
  • ?2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ?1 carrot, grated
  • ?1 can black beans (rinsed and blended)
  • ?1/4 -1/3 cup oat flour, gluten free if desired
  • ?1 tsp cumin, chilli powder, paprika
  • ? salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Combine all the above ingredients together

  2. Form into burgers

  3. Allow to chill in the fridge for 20 minutes before frying or grilling ??
