Ingredients

Banana ghosts

  • bananas
  • tahini or other nut or seed butter
  • desiccated coconut
  • cacao nibs
  • wooden skewers

  • bananas
  • peanut butter
  • cacao nibs
  • wooden skewers

Apple mouths

  • apples
  • flaked almonds or sunflower seeds
  • peanut butter or strawberry slices

Preparation

Banana ghosts

  1. Cut bananas in half and insert a wooden skewer in each half as a handle.

  2. Brush with tahini or other nut or seed butter.

  3. Roll in desiccated coconut.

  4. Press in two cacao nib eyes in each ghost.

  5. Eat directly or freeze for at least 45 minutes for a more ice creamy feeling.

Banana mummies

  1. Peel bananas and cut off the pointy ends.

  2. Cut the banana into three pieces.

  3. Insert wooden skewers in each piece as handles.

  4. Drizzle peanut butter across each piece.

  5. Add two cacao nib eyes to each mummy.

  6. Place directly in the freezer for at least 45 minutes to set the peanut butter and make the banana slightly ice creamy.

Apple mouths

  1. Cut an apple into quarters.

  2. Remove the core from each quarter.

  3. Cut a wedge from each quarter to create an open mouth shape.

  4. Insert flaked almonds or sunflower seeds as teeth.

  5. Fill the mouth with peanut butter or a strawberry slice as the tongue.
