No-Bake Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • peanut butter
  • dark chocolate

Optional

  • flakey salt

Preparation

  1. Slice the bananas into pieces that are about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. Add peanut butter to half of the banana slices and top them with the remaining slices to form sandwiches.

  3. Place the banana bites on a baking tray and put them in the freezer while melting the chocolate.

  4. Break up one bar of dark chocolate into small pieces and melt it in a microwave-safe dish in 30-second increments until fully melted.

  5. Remove the banana bites from the freezer and dip one half of each bite into the melted chocolate.

  6. Place the chocolate-covered banana bites back on the baking tray and repeat the dipping for all bites.

  7. Optionally, top with flakey salt.

Tips

  1. This recipe is best eaten right away, as the bananas can turn brown when exposed to air.
