Fish Soup with Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 500 grams white fish fillet or salmon, cut into small cubes
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 large potatoes, cut into small cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 10 whole black peppercorns
  • 1 cup liquid cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped dill

Preparation

  1. Heat the oil in a pot.

  2. Add the onion and garlic, and stir until wilted.

  3. Add the potatoes and fish.

  4. Add water, salt, bay leaves, and peppercorns, and let it cook gently until the potatoes and fish are cooked.

  5. Add the cream and dill.

Serving suggestions

  1. Serve the soup with lemon.
