Avocado Toast with Egg and Toppings

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Ezekiel bread
  • 1 avocado
  • Basil leaves
  • 1 egg
  • Roasted pepitas
  • Balsamic glaze
  • Fresh berries

Preparation

  1. Toast the Ezekiel bread slices until golden brown.

  2. Mash the avocado or slice it as preferred.

  3. Fry the egg in a pan until cooked to your liking.

  4. Spread the avocado on the toasted bread.

  5. Top with basil leaves, the fried egg, roasted pepitas, and drizzle with balsamic glaze.

  6. Serve with fresh berries on the side.
