Chocolate Cake Protein Balls
Ingredients
- 500 g oats, blended (or oat flour)
- 3 scoops chocolate pea protein powder (around 90 g)
- 1 scoop @kianolifeco Choco Fuel (around 30 g)
- 20 g cacao powder
- 200 g raisins
- 700 ml filtered water
- 250 g dark chocolate
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional for dipping)
Preparation
Mix all of the dry ingredients (oats, protein powder, Choco Fuel, cacao powder) in a bowl, except for the raisins.
In a blender, combine the raisins with half of the filtered water and blend until smooth.
Add the blended raisin mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
Gradually add the remaining half of the filtered water and mix until a cohesive mixture forms.
Using your hands, divide the mixture and shape it into protein cake balls.
Place the cake balls on a sheet of baking paper and refrigerate to chill.
If desired, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together in a deep bowl.
Roll the chilled cake balls in the melted chocolate using a fork for even coating.
Place the chocolate-coated cake balls on the baking paper and chill again for at least 30 minutes.
