Maid of Honour Tart Breakfast
Ingredients
- 40g Grapenuts UK
- 1/2 tablespoon Nkdliving erythritol gold
- Moroccan almond extract
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 4 teaspoons Hartleys raspberry jam
- 25g Homepride plain flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- Vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon Carnation drizzle
- 1 egg
Preparation
Blitz the Grapenuts into a fine crumb.
Mix the crumb with erythritol gold, Moroccan almond extract, and hot water, then press into a 12 cm tart case.
Add the raspberry jam to the base.
Mix the flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, Carnation drizzle, and egg, then pour onto the tart.
Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes.
Prepare and serve with half a dose of usual custard.
Tips
Underbaking the cake mixture slightly can enhance the eating experience for a softer texture.
