Miso Falafel and Spicy Mango Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 package Maza Falafel
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1.5 tablespoons white miso
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 50 ml water
- Oil for frying
- 1 package Maza spicy mango hummus
- 150 g couscous
- 400 g broccoli florets
- 200 g mango, cubed
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
Preparation
Prepare the couscous according to package instructions.
Steam the broccoli florets for 5-6 minutes until al dente.
Heat a small layer of oil in a frying pan. Fry the falafel for about 3 minutes until crispy. Set aside.
Mix the cornstarch with the water.
Heat another tablespoon of sesame oil in the same pan. Sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds. Then add the soy sauce, maple syrup, miso, and the cornstarch mixture. Let it simmer gently until a thick sauce forms. Then add the falafel back and stir until all falafel is coated with sauce.
Divide the couscous onto two plates with the miso falafel, spicy mango hummus, broccoli, mango cubes, and sesame seeds.
