Roasted Garlic Hummus with Toppings
Ingredients
- 2 cans organic chickpeas
- 1/2 cup tahini
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- Chickpea aquafaba (reserved liquid), to adjust consistency
- 1 whole roasted garlic, peeled
- 1-2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
Drain one can of chickpeas and reserve the aquafaba from the second can.
Peel the roasted garlic cloves if not already done.
In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy, adding more aquafaba as needed for desired consistency.
Plate the hummus in a shallow bowl.
Decorate with chopped purple onions, cherry tomatoes, micro greens, lemon wedges, olives, and crushed red pepper.
Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
