Classic Creamy Hummus with Garnishes
Ingredients
- 2 cans organic chickpeas
- 1 cup tahini
- Juice of one large lemon
- Reserved chickpea juice from one can
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- 1-2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Garnishes
- Chopped purple onions
- Roasted chickpeas
- Cherry tomatoes
- Parsley
- Lemon wedges
- Crushed red pepper
Preparation
Drain one can of chickpeas and reserve the water from the second can.
Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
Place the hummus in a shallow bowl.
Decorate with the garnishes.
