Extra Creamy Classic Hummus
Ingredients
- 2 cans organic chickpeas
- 1 cup good quality tahini
- Juice from one large lemon
- Chickpea aquafaba (reserved water), add to taste
- 3-4 cloves garlic
- 1-2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Garnishes
- chopped purple onions
- roasted chickpeas
- cherry tomatoes
- parsley
- lemon wedges
- crushed red pepper
Preparation
Drain one can of chickpeas and reserve the aquafaba from the second can.
In a high-speed blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy, adding more aquafaba if needed for desired consistency.
Plate the hummus in a shallow bowl.
Decorate with garnishes.
