Salted Caramel Swirl Blondies

Ingredients

  • 1 pack @emmysorganics Grain-Free Blondie Mix
  • 2 flax eggs (or real eggs)
  • 1/3 cup avocado oil
  • 1 tbsp water

Salted caramel sauce

  • 1/3 cup tahini or almond butter (or a mix!)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2-3 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan and/or line with parchment paper.

  2. Whisk together eggs, oil, and water.

  3. Add blondie mix, and whisk to combine.

  4. Pour into the prepared baking pan.

  5. Whisk together the caramel ingredients until smooth and thick but drizzleable. If it’s too thick, add a bit more coconut oil. If it’s too thin, add more nut butter.

  6. Drizzle half of the caramel in thin lines across the top of the blondies, and use a dull knife or chopstick to swirl.

  7. Bake for 25-27 minutes at 350°F.

  8. Cool completely before slicing.

  9. Slice and drizzle with remaining caramel sauce.
