Salted Caramel Tahini Cups
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Coconut Oil
- 1/4 cup Tahini
- 3 tbs Maple Syrup
- 1/2 cup Dates
- 2 tbs Peanut Butter
- Pinch of Salt
Preparation
Melt coconut oil and stir in tahini and maple syrup.
Pour the mixture into muffin cases, shape into cups by bringing up the sides, and place in the freezer to set.
While the cups are setting, blend dates, peanut butter, and salt to make caramel.
Add a spoonful of caramel to each cup.
Top with the remaining tahini mixture and freeze for a few hours to set.
Notes
For the peanut butter, use powdered peanut butter reconstituted into a thick paste or a similar product.
