Shrimp and Pea Pasta

Ingredients

  • Any short pasta that can be picked up by chubby fingers
  • 6 frozen peeled and deveined shrimp
  • A handful of frozen sweet peas (or whatever vegetable we have left over in the fridge. I often use kale, broccoli or spinach)
  • Splash of Olive oil
  • Grated Parmesan

Preparation

  1. Drop pasta into boiling salted water and set a timer for 3 minutes less than the package directions calls for

  2. When the timer goes off, add the shrimp and vegetables and cook for another 4 minutes (if using leftover cooked vegetables, drop them in at the last seconds instead)

  3. Drain the pasta and top with a little olive oil and grated parmesan. Depending on how well your baby chews you may want to cut the shrimp into small pieces to serve
