Vegan Cashew Christmas Cheese
Ingredients
- 75g unsalted cashew nuts
- 150ml plant milk
- 4 tbsp corn starch
- 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
Coating
- Herbs de Provence
Preparation
Add all cashew cheese ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
Pour the mixture into a pan and heat up, stirring constantly until it turns into a thick paste.
Transfer the paste into a suitable container and even it out.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Sprinkle herbs de Provence on a plate and coat the cheese on all sides.
Tips
Feel free to add cranberries, walnuts, or other add-ins for variation.
Spread on crackers, bread, or add to your salad.
